dual climate control issue

my drivers side isn't hot nor does it have good air flow when set to hot.
It works fine when set on cooler or cold.
motor? door?
do I have to take dash out?

THANKS!

There are two pairs of doors linked together on each side of the hvac box on dual climate trucks.

Each pair of doors routes air through or around the heater core. I think you have one of that pair broken and stuck shutting off air to the heater core.

Someone came out with a kit where you cut a bunch of holes in the HVAC box, but personally I'd do it right and take the dash and HVAC out.

It really isn't all that bad, just time consuming, plus you have to have the AC evacuated and recharged.
