Drivers seat is shot at 67k miles

Hey guys, I have been looking on here for a solution to my seat issue and hope yall can point me in the right direction. My drivers seat is shot and I spent 175 bucks for a local shop to replace the bottom once already. Now it is twisted and really uncomfortable and not tolerable. Does anyone make a better replacement seat or does anyone know the interchange for it? After even an hour in the truck my back and hips are sore and it really sucks

I pulled off the cover and put padding in my seat. I actually bought one of those seat cushions as seen on tv and it has worked great. Just search 3rd gen padding fix and follow the directions. I did not pull my seat out, just looked under it and slid the tabs off the cover, pulled the pad off and put the padding under it. Feels 100 times better. You Tube has a video on it I believe.

Like Justen920 I removed the bottom seat cover and installed 1" high density foam on top of the seat springs. I used an old rubber floor mat to protect the foam against the springs. The extra 1" made a noticeable improvement in comfort.

Do a search here. I don't rememeber the thread, but someone showed how to disassemble the entire seat, and use a burlap sack and some spray glue to re-inforce the existing cushion. Then you add some more foam and put it back together. I did it on mine at about 90k and at 170k it's still good.
