Drivers door lock
 

Looking for either a picture, diagram, or instructions on how to but back together the inside pieces of the door lock.

For a few years now I had an issue where if I used the key to unlock the truck, the alarm would go off. I ignored this.
Then the key stopped working, would not unlock truck. I ignored this.
I finally decided to dig into the issues. Pulled door panel, looked around, and found 2 issues.

55276143AA LINK Key Cylinder To Latch - Had fallen off the key cylinder.
55136557AA Switch, Left. Security Alarm. - Had fallen off and the wires some how got cut.
I also found a random white plastic part that I'm not sure where it goes or what it does.

I can't even find a diagram online showing how the switch attaches.

I'm assuming the security switch goes over the post with the smooth side towards the interior, not sure which direction the wires should point.(left, down, up, right)

The latch is keyed, so I believe I know how it fits, then I just need to get the clip back on.

I have no idea where the white plastic part belongs.

Not sure what's going on with attachments on my end. I've tried to upload a PDF that I snipped from the service manual several times to no avail. If you PM me your email, I can send it that way. It's 28 pages, and includes everything about the front doors.

You're welcome! I wasn't sure how far you needed to go with dis-assembly, so I sent everything. Glad you got everything 'handled' :hehe:

Yes everything works now as it should.
