i would like to take the black plastic moulding strips off the sides of my truck and need to know if there are going to be the plastic plugs with holes in the sides that keep it on or is it just a 2 sided tape ? thanks im talking about the strips down twards the bottom of the doors about 2"w by 3' long

 

The molding is held on with doublesided tape. Use fishing line or a heat gun to help remove the molding.
