Did DC every fix the 70mph vibe?

Or, at least officially acknowledge it???

I haven't been real active on this forum for awhile. This and a rattle in the driver side mirror are about my only complaints in 32000 miles of trouble-free driving. I noticed the vibe again today on the fwy and wondered if there might be a fix.

I'm talking about the driveline vibe, not the one that was fixed with the power steering hose weight. I know about the hose clamp on the driveshaft trick. I haven't tried it. I just wondered if DC has fixed it correctly.

I think it mainly afflicted short wheelbase 4x4 quadcabs. Your mega has a longer wheelbase. Or, they figured it out and fixed it on 06s.

I just sold my old 2003 Quadcab and mine would rattle at 68 to 74 MPH.

I never took it to the dealer because my warranty was exp.

So I bought a new 2007 with more problems then the 03.

It has to do with drive shaft lenghts......the sb trucks have a one piece aluminum which is garbage(i am on my second) and the megas are a two piece steel.

At first I thought it was driveshaft also.

I'm not so sure anymore. On a recent trip through the mountains of New Mexico and Colorado I could get the same vibration at 2000-2100 rpms not matter what gear.

Seems to be more engine related.
