dealer warranty work

I have to take the truck to the dealership for the front pinion seal leaking. This is the second time to go in, last time mechanic stated it was from the crankcase vent hose but this time I crawled underneath, wipped the pumpkin off and have a distinct smell of gear oil. My next question is should I remove my M3 module before taking to dealer. BB

I took my AFE stage 2 out to go in to have them diagnose a trans problem, and I don't even have any other performance mods.

I had to have mine done at 38K. Just out of factory warranty, (How do they do that?). They replaced the pinion flange and seal under the extended contract for the $100 deductible. Still O.K. at 42K.
Don't know about the M3 thing.
