Cruise Control Limit

I do a lot of LONG trips, and in doing so I use the cruise control. Not sure how many have experienced this and I couldn't find it discussed elsewhere, but the cruise control appears to max out at 85 MPH.

Is there a way to change this? I just don't like being limted.

the low limit on the cruise control bothers me, not the high limit. on my tahoe, i could lock the cruise at 40kph, on my dodge, i can't get it to lock until just under 60kph... why i want a low cruise set point, one street going to my work place, long and flat and slow with lots of radar traps... set it and forget it until i get off on the side streets...

Mine won't set past 87 or so, my '98 Durango was the same way. Drives me nuts. I hope someone knows of a work around.

I'm surprized! The upper limit on cruise controls in general was 80mph on any and every car/truck I came across for years.Lower limit was in the 35 mph range.

So, I'm guessing there is no way to reprogram the upper and/or lower limits. Bummer.
