Phoned about the cruise control for automatic high idle. Sad to say it doesn't apply to my truck. Just out of curiosity was it brought in for the late '03's, early '04's, or which trucks?? (I was really wishing!)

Thanks bula! It looks like I should be able to have this done. Under Models: it says 2004, but the NOTE: engine date of manufacture on or before Dec. 10, 2003. Under the Repair Procedure part e. "On 1998 1/2- 2003 vehicles, select..." It seems to me that would mean you should be able to have this done on 1998 1/2- 2004 vehicles.

 

My build date was 10-03 and i had the high idle done to my 04. They had to do it twice ( not very smart i guess) but it works great...

 

I have to take mine in for them to check the number on my ECM to see if they can do it. (I'm sure hoping!)
