Costco Batteries

Anyone else notice that Costco switch from Kirkland branded batteries made by Johnson Controls to Interstate Branded batteries? IIRC, Interstates are also made by JC..

anyone have and insight into this branding change?

I'm sure its all about the dollar. Interstate probably cut them a better deal.

I have used interstate batteries for years and yes they are made by JC, as well as 60% of all batteries sold in the USA. And, Costco's prices are much lower for interstate batteries than any others I could find.
