I recently bought a set of MB Quart 269 components for the front of my Dodge. I also have a set of Clarion 4x6 Pro Audio plate components. I thought about mounting the mid driver in the stock location in the front door and mounting the tweeters in the dash location but am worried about the seperation. The JL plates complete will not fit in the dash but the mids will. I thought about mounting the MB tweeters in the cone of the door speakers and cheating the Clarion mids in the top of the dash off of the passive crossover. If I do this will I have to do anything special since the crossover will only be seeing 2 ohms resistance? I am running this off a factory HU with no amp for now.

Are there any stereo guru's here?
