Cab Vents
Okay so I posted this on the Engine and Drivetrain by accident so here it is again.
Ok fellow Dodge Lovers. I have recently had to replace ALL of my AC/Heater Doors as many of them were wore out and no longer functional. So I put them all in and unless I run the heat on recirculated air, it is only "Kind of Warm" instead of "Fires of Hell Hot" that it used to be. Made sure my heater core was bled of all air and made sure all doors moved freely before putting the dash back. So now what? Dealer told me I have to bring it in and have them "Reprogram" my blenddoor motors, since they were unhooked for so long and running worn out doors??? Really???? Will this fix my problem? I have another problem that I am putting in a seperate post. So if you would please check it out as well. Thank you.

The door motors should "re-calibrate" themselves from what I was told, after an alotted amount of cycles. Unless something went way wrong, everything should function as it did before the R&R. You didn't cross the heater hoses did you?

No I marked them. Once I turn to recirculated air, the heat is as hot as the sun. So I am not sure. Almost like it uses recirculated air for heat and it isn't switching unless I physically do it on the switch. (Which is okay unless u want to use defrosters and your wife is driving it in blizzard like conditions to work and I found out the hard way )
