brake pedal not returning all of the way

on my 03 3500 when you push in the brake pedal, it doesn't come all of the way back out some times. This is mainly noticeable when I am pulling a trailer, in which the trailer brakes stay on. Is there an adjustment somewhere that I can get it to return all the way??? This problem already cost me a trailer tire, because apparently my driver couldn't tell that the 11k behind him had the trailer brakes partially stuck.

if it was mine doing that i would be taking it to a brake shop or the dealer for repairs it sounds like you have a master cylinder problem

Since it is a Cummins, this does NOT surprise me

I also agree that it should be taken to a shop because I don't see there would be any adjustment. Unless it is related to your brake controller??

I had a ford do that one time and it was the brake master cylinder, would go down and not come back up very far, had to replace it. good luck.
