H2 Take-Offs
Got a great deal on ebay on 5 new H2's factory alluminum wheels and new 315/70/17 BFG's. Got a machinist buddy to open em up on and didn't even have to dismount tires. Modified the dodge caps to fit per

and love the look and ride. Haven't had the on for more than a couple of hundred miles so I can't talk about the wear but have friends that own them and swear they last long long time.
Have heard complaints about the side wall not good for rockcrawling.

I like the quite-worn BFG 315s I got from Dodgezilla. Even though they are getting down there, I think I can make them last at least until winter, which works for me because I wanted to see if I liked the size first.

I don't know if I missed the bus on this or what, but I can't seem to find any decent deals on these rims. I've called all the Hummer dealers in metro detroit and have been watching eBay since before I even bought my truck! It seems people go nuts over the chrome finish bidding them over $800, the plain form doesn't seem to be all that much cheaper.

We tow a 19,000 lb. fifthwheel support trailer for a Pro Truck team. And we tow into Imperial Valley,Glamis. CA. and deep into Mexico from No.CA. I can say that they do run well @75mph for long trips @50 psi. with low tire casing temps. On and Off highway. We have also run the goodyear MTR with a heaver tire casing and more load rating. But the tread wear is much lower. And this is coming from a big time Goodyear fan.We have not had any casing, sidewall or tread failure so far with either tire. as of now we are very happy with the BFG.s and have 30,000 miles on 315/75R17 BF Goodrich AT radials.

I am in Maryland and the 3 dealers around here had none, none and 1 set. The VA dealer with 1 set wasn't willing to give them up for less than around $800 but really wanted to sell them as a set rims and all at $1100. I needed 5 tires and really didn't want the rims so I went new...
Sells of H2's down and no take offs seem to be the problem

BFG's
I have to say mine are wearing very well. I was kind of worried when i first got them but so far i have 60,000 km on them and the still have over 50% left on them. I find you need to get them rotated between 15,000 - 20,000km or the fronts start to get a little uneven wear on the outside of the tires. Very good so far. They look sharp !

I've been happy with my 315's too, but they're not perfect. You can expect a 1-1.5 MPG drop with them and they tend to steer the truck more than the stock 265's. With about 45,000 on my set of H2 takeoffs they have been rebalanced once and are getting noisy and rough. But that's a lot of miles. I recommend the H2 wheels too. Very nice fit.
