Which is better Recirculate or outside air?
here's one for you. It was a rainy friday last week and I had to leave my windows up all day. I turned the vent on, and had to keep switching back and forth to the defrost. I noticed the defrost air seemed to be cooled as if the a/c was on. I put it on defrost/floor combo and got the same results with the air blowing to my feet...it was cooled. Yet when I switced back to the face vents it would warm back up. Outside temp was about 80*, and I know the air coming out when it was on defrost was nowhere near 80. ?????
I've been working in Nebraska lately and when I drive by a cattle feed lot, I switch it to recirc. real quick! Recirc doesn't suck the outside smell into the cab. That smell's hard to get outta the seats.
I have several dairys close by!!! Man do they stink! ANd yes, you feel like a shower just after driving by them!!! I often find that I sniff my shirt to make sure none was left over...
THats one thing I do not let bother me anymore.... my truck! LOLOLOL If it's there, then I am going to use it, if it breaks, DOdge can fix it... hopefully..LOLOL YOu don't hear too many 07 owners having problems with this part...
I used recirc for the first time today in this truck. The air was noticeably colder than on a similar day. I usually do not run my a/c, but when it gets up into the 90's and i'm not on the interstate the beads begin to roll....
