Bad steering free play

Bad steering free play

I have developed bad steering free play. When I go over bumps i can feel the front wheels wander. The tie rods lhave about 10k on them, the steering box has 2k miles on it, the only thing that looks to have any play is track bar bushings. I just find it hard to believe that bushings could be causing all the wandering. Any idea what else i can be

Ball joints? jack the truck up and see if the top of the tire can be moved in and out

the ball joints have some play and it has play in it before the wheels even turn when i wiggle the wheel back and forth w/ the truck off
