B&W Turnover Ball and Air bags?????
B&W Turnover Ball and Air bags?????
I just installed a new B&W turnover ball in my tuck and I was wondering if anyone has had any problems adding a set of air helper springs? I know it is gong to be tight since I have a short bed. Also any ides on placement of a 2.5gal air thank and a Viair 450C to round out the kit?
Thanks

I saw an outside the rail air bag kit in a Diesel Power ad that would make the hitch a non issue.
I am planning to put my compressor and tank on the frame rail behind the cab on the passenger side. Between the rail and the outside of the bed, lots of wasted space.

I have a 2006 Megacab so Short bed with a B&W Turnover ball hitch and the Firestone Ride Rites. No issues at all, and in fact B&W RECOMMENDS the Firestone bags. They are complete bolt on as the mount into the bump stop. Remove the bump stop bolts and the upped mount bolts in the factory hooles. the lower mount clams around the axle..not even remotely close to hitch.
