B&W Hitch and Rear Fender Liners

I am getting ready to install rear fender liners in my truck. But, I have a B&W turnover ball gooseneck hitch installed. The rod that is pulled to release the ball for turning is blocked by the liner. I would like to know how others have handled this problem. I just can't bring myself to cut a notch in the fender liner. I bet someone here has a neat fix for this ???

If you do a search, someone posted pics I believe. They notched it and it didn't look bad. Notched is better than no liner IMHO.

Yeah, I just cut a little hole in mine. I made it small, and above where it turns in so mud doesn't get slung in there.

If you cut a hole, make sure to knock the corners off where you cut with some sandpaper or something. Otherwise it will skin your hand.

I just extended the pull handle and stuck it threw a 1/4" hole in the liner.

Rick D, I like your idea. That's exactly what I ended up doing except my hole is about 3/8". Thanks for the ideas guys.
