Anyone have a Ravelco

Does anyone have a Ravelco? If so, how do you like it? Was it worth the money? Any down sides?
Thanks,
Jay

We have one on my truck and one on my wife's. We have had them about a year and so far no issues. I feel like they were well worth the money.

Got one on mine. No problems. Like it so far. Only problem is I can't use my remote start with the plug pulled off. But I'd rather have the peace of mind.

I'd like to install one on mine as well.
Any ideas on where to have the plug mounted?

I had mine mounted under the dash next to the hood release. Just so it was out of sight. I don't like a lot of clutter on my dash.

I have mine for about a year and a half now and its mounted at the same location as ROCK CRAWLER next to the hood release. I guess it works since my truck is still with me. My only issues with it is sometimes I forget to plug it in and try to start it then realize I forgot to plug it in. After plugging it in and start it the airbag and ABS dash light will stay on till the next time you cycle the keys again.

I don't have one yet as there is no dealer in my area, but as soon as I get a chance I will have one installed. I would like the peace of mind.

I have one and would do it again. No problems. Had it about a year I guess. Kind of pricey. I don't think a thief could crank it and drive it off. Guess they could get it with a roll-back though.

Had mine for a while now. Love it. Had it installed by a Ravelco dealer in Brownsville, TX. He even threw in a blinking led light to make people think I have an alarm. That was about a year ago, and with tax it was less than $250. A Ralvelco dealer in Houston wanted almost twice as much for the same install. Brownsville was closer for me than where I would have had to go in Houston. I sleep better at night knowing I have a Ravelco, being close to Mexico that is.

I have it, no issues with it as well. The plug for it is a Little Bulky for the pocket. Only weirdness is if you attempt to start the truck without having it plugged in. I find it will reset my Bully Dog, so I have to re-enter all my information (I use the Bully Dog as Gauges only).

Mines been on for a couple years, Chris Brahs installed it. I really like it, easy to use. Your insurance company will give you a discount when you have one. Best anti-theft investment out there.

I've had one for about a year and don't have any complaints. I had mine installed under the drivers vent where the cigarette lighter used to be. It is a perfect fit. I attached a little chain from my keychain to the plug so I can never forget it.

You unplug it everytime you leave the truck?
I wondered if continued use would wear out the contacts? Guess not.
If I lived in busy, coastal Florida I would probably do same! Love mine but only use it when out of town.

Would very much like a decal for outside to announce Revelco's presence. Can't really see the one I have through the tint. Anyone have these?
