Anyone got picture of stock stereo rear end?
I have a Sirius Sportster replay that plays through my stereo via an 8" antenna.
I set the stereo to a certain channel and it picks up the Sirius. I want to hardwire it to the stereo but cannot figure how to get to the stereos backend to see what kind of plug I need. Anyone got pics of the stock single cd's backend? Are there just rca input/output connectors back there? I've searched and the CD owners manual doesn't show anything. thanks fellas..... |
The back of the radio has a small plug. Behind the passenger side kick panel there is a connector that will fit your FM adapter (if that what you have) if your hooking it to the antenna wire. To take the radio out, take the screw out that holds the little hanger on the pass side. The rest of the dash around the radio pops out. 4 screw and remove the radio.

You rock! thanks Mopar

yeah, if it weren't for that one scre that holds the hook to the dash, the dash would fall in your lap on a good bump !

Glad I could help if I did. I found out about the connector behind the kick panel from fellow DTRs also. Mine works great hooked up this way.[guitar]
