another A/C dilema
So I just spent a butt load getting new A/c lines and valves put in, because supposedly they were bad, and the *********** put in a new pump and something else last year. The A/C finally stays cold now on the drivers side, but the passenger side of the truck is only luke warm. Is this a blend door possibly? It has a drivers and passengers side comfort zone. My wallet thanks any help on this.

I hope the refrigerant isn't low. As posted, I spent all this money on new lines because they showed a leak, put in a new Schrader valve and line because the threads were stripped so the valve wasn't seating, put in both new valves because one was creating a vacuum when it was supposed to be pressure, a new compressor because the other one was bad and leaking. I mean really, can all of these be bad, and now it is still leaking???? what is left to replace? just the condenser I think, but 2 mechanics told me those never go bad. I feel like slapping them after all of this new stuff, and still problems. I've spent almost 3 months of truck payments on this ordeal.

there is about a 25* difference between them. I hope it is the blend door, but it has gotten like this when it is low on 134 before too. I read a thread where a guy can drop the whole steering column to fix a door, but is there and easier way?
I looked at that site, I couldn't see a part for newer than an '02.

Common issue. The root of the problem is that the high side pressures will spike around 450 psi on a cold startup, hot humid morning. The ECM will not tell the fan clutch to engage causing a lack of air flow over the condenser. My fix for this was to install a fan on the front of the Condensor and run it off a trigger from the A/C clutch. Do a search. My posts are on here. The sad part is I still have some leaking. I will have to refill every 1 to 1 1/2 years. I got so tired of it I just fill it back up and keep going. R134A is cheap.
