OK peeps,
Where can we find the best deal on a set of these steps? Back when I bought my rig in March they weren't making them for the Megacab, or at least I couldn't find them if they did. I wanted 'em, couldn't get 'em.

4wheelparts has them, as do many dealerships.

Kevin,
The best price I found was at Electric Step on the web. They are close to AMP Products in Southern Cal. $1055 truly painful, but the steps are cool. The Mega Cab is a standard product now BTW. The thing the wife likes is that the step is about 5 inches lower than a simple bolt on Nerf Bar.
I did photograph the install to do a bit of a install guide, but I wanted to ask about posting photos on the forum.

glad it worked out for you. you will not regret the steps at all. I love mine!
it still amazes me though that the $1200 steps is what gets the most attention when there is 5K in lift wheels and tires on the 40K truck.

Thanks for the info Bill. I'd like to see you install pics. When you figure out how to post the pics tell me. I'm no to computer literate when it comes to that type of thing.

My wife is vertically challenged and when she saw those steps she said, get them (and she knew how much they were). Nerf bars don't do much if you want help getting in the truck.

They have worked flawless on my truck , about the only thing that has and I would say if I replace my truck they would be the first add on . On a side note , I have a disability which give me trouble walking so Dodge picked up part of the tab on mine . They will pick up about half on the power step or more on any add on that is used for disability assistance . My legs should have a factory recall but these steps make it easier to get in my truck then most cars .

Not that hard to install. If you've ever put a stereo in you can do this. The directions are a lil' crappy. Just vague enough to make me over think some things, but not too bad.

I just wanted to say if some of you guys are wanting a power step for a standard cab truck, you might want to check into the Kodiac Sidewinder power retractable steps. They are perfect for a regular cab truck and mine have worked flawlessly. Very quick. They fit very tight to the rocker panel and then drop 8" when the door is open. Run about $450 a pair.

I have a regular cab, too. Kodiak makes similar steps for the regular cabs. I'm thinking about getting a set for mine.
