Question Airbag shut off switch in a quad cab?

I bought a 2004 3500 CTD (HO 555) 48 auto trans 2x4 DRW
quad cab truck this week. And so far it's showing 15.3 MPG on the comp with city driving, but I'm ok with that for starters. I traded in a 97 club cab 2x4 360 gas that averaged 11.5 on a good day! But what I want to ask is has anyone been able to get an air bag shut off switch installed in a quad cab? I asked a service rep at the dealer and he said that the last time he heard of this was for the model year 2000 quads. And he gave me the number for chrysler customer service so I could give them a call.
But I think that if it can be done, someone here can help me out. I need this because when I travel without my wife my son want's to sit in front. So I need to be able to turn off the air bag. Has anyone had luck getting a switch installed?

Thanks
Kenny K

I've heard it is available. I think they come standard on the Canadian version.

56045496AA is the part number for the switch, but you need to remove the instrument cluster bezel to make sure you have the right wiring to allow the switch to be installed. You will also have to have a Dealer hook up their diagnostic computer to tell the truck that a switch has been installed. Otherwise the Aib Bag light will stay on and set a trouble code. Hope this helps.
