4.10 rear - lower ratio via tire size

I'll be picking up my (new to me) 05 Monday. It has a 4.10 rear and I was wondering what size tires would make that ratio a little closer to a 3.73? Do I need a lift kit on the truck for the bigger sized tires? Just looking for some increased MPG with the tire change.
Thanks.

you will most likely have to put a leveling kit on to fit 35". with 35" tires you will be close to the 3.73 final drive ratio

Here is a tire/gear calculator to play with.

my 05 came with 4.10s. i did a lorenz kit and 35s to bring the RPMs down and it did. also had the speedo recalibrated and it does help. before i was up around almost 2500 rpms at 70-75, now im just over 2000 rpms. so it does bring the RPMS down and supposedly helps your mpg. which it does, alittle.

I did the exact same thing except for the Lorenz kit. Just added a Daystar spacer to the front end. Turns about 2000RPM's at 70MPH.
