4.10 rear - lower ratio via tire size
4.10 rear - lower ratio via tire size
I'll be picking up my (new to me) 05 Monday. It has a 4.10 rear and I was wondering what size tires would make that ratio a little closer to a 3.73? Do I need a lift kit on the truck for the bigger sized tires? Just looking for some increased MPG with the tire change.
Thanks.
Thanks.
some guys on here are running 35s with no lift me i bought a level kit just to be sure and i like the look better as for the gear ratio someone on here will chime in on that i have no clue to be honest
my 05 came with 4.10s. i did a lorenz kit and 35s to bring the RPMs down and it did. also had the speedo recalibrated and it does help. before i was up around almost 2500 rpms at 70-75, now im just over 2000 rpms. so it does bring the RPMS down and supposedly helps your mpg. which it does, alittle.
