3rd Gen Definitive Paint Code Thread
 

Gentlemen, after 2 hours of threads I've found a need for a definitive paint code thread. The following list has been taken from http://www.automotivetouchup.com
You should be able to find your code there:

2006 codes:
PB7 Patriot Blue Prl
PBJ Atlantic Blue Prl
PBT Patriot Blue Prl
PDM Mineral Gray Met
PJC Lt Khaki Met
PR4 Flame Red
PRH Infrno Red Crystl Pr
PRJ Infrno Red Crystl Pr
PS2 Brt Silver Met
PSB Brt Silver Met

You can use your VIN at the dealer to find your paint code as well.
Further, on the drivers side door/doorjam will be a plate with your VIN and paint code (amoungst other things).

Fading, etc. may have changed your paint colour a bit and you can take it to a paint shop which will be able to further refine your match with their colour-match computer.

Most colours are usually available in a 1 stage and 2 stage paints, depending on your preference.

I've heard Dodge used a base/clear(2 stage) paint on our vehicles, but need someone to chime in here to confirm this fact. If it was originally base/clear, is this the paint we should purchase for touch-ups and repairs?

It also depends which location your truck was painted at.

When I had my fender flares painted PS2, there were three actual sub-paint codes for the PS2.
