38000 miles blend door took a dump again
I would have a heart to heart talk with the service manager. 2000 miles, thats nothing. I had some AC problems with my Explorer and Ford was cool about it, and yes, I was way passed the warranty in both miles and time. You know, stuff like that, it's just not suppose to wear out or break in that few amount of miles. This is a design or material failure. Dodge needs to step up and take responsibility. It's not like just a few people are having this problem. It's more like, your either in the group that's had a blend door failure or the group that will.
I just dropped mine of this morning for the same problem - my recirc door quit working for the second time. I'm at 37,xxx miles and it sounds like I may have to foot the bill on this one.
I did a search on this and it looks like it's a pretty common issue.

I think it is poorly supported and will fail with time no matter what you do.

after almost 2 years we pulled the door out of the 06 work truck. WOW does it blow some air again
I played with the door and it is some tough material. The power that the motor must be putting out to break it must be way overkill.
