Are 2wd 2500 and 3500 front springs the same?

Are the factory 2 wheel drive 2003 model front coil springs the same on the 2500 and 3500? I need to replace ball joints and do some other work on my '03 2500 2wd regular cab. I would like a little stronger front spring, but not sure I want to go to the aftermarket h.d. lift spring like sd springs sells. I don't want to change the geometry a lot or have a real stiff ride, but I just want it not to bottom out as easily. I carry some loads on it and use it on the farm, and ride long distances with no load some too. I thought if the 3500 springs were a little bit stronger that would be perfect.

I found a parts page, and what's the deal with all these different spring part numbers? Were there that many different springs? Upper and Lower Control Arms,Springs and Shocks,DR 1,2,3. Fits: 2003 DODGE RAM 2500 | FACTORY CHRYSLER PARTS

I've read somewhere some owners have gone to the 2009 model HD's springs. For the 2009 4th gen HD Ram's they either made the springs stiffer or longer or both. I'm not sure which.
