2500 Overload spring shims?
2500 Overload spring shims?
Has anyone seen shims or wedges offered similar to the Stable Load kit that install between the leaf pack and overload leaf (bottom leaf on a 2500) to engage the overloads earlier without having to sag the suspension?
Got airbags for haulin the new camper but if I air them up to the proper ride ht for the truck then I don't get into the overloads and loose some stability.
The stable load kit requires drilling the springs. Looking for something that might clamp in place.
Thanks

Thanks for the offer. I've used those on past trucks, good overload springs.
Unfortunatley I'm in AK right now and will only be home briefly before loading up the camper and heading back north.
After alot of searching, I think the only commercially made product is the quick disconnect Stable Loads.
However, I think I may have found a temporary solution. I'm going to take a couple hockey pucks and rip them diagonally to make 2 wedges out of each puck. Fit them in there and wire the snot out of them to the lower spring. Should hold up for one long trip anyway.
