Smile 2010 HD Ram @ OKC Auto Show

I was able to get right up to the new Ram 3500HD Quad(crew) cab dually at the car show today. Unfortunately it was locked and the windows were all up. I snapped a few pics of what I could see of the interior.

I couldn't see a whole lot. I like the new gauges, still no boost/egt that I could see. The bedsides are now 1 piece on the dually, the towing mirrors have been changed. They still do the flip up, but the convex corner mirror has been replaced. The tow/haul button is on the dash, couldn't see what was on the end of the shifter now. The up/down shift switch has been changed a little but still in about the location. It looks like there is a 115volt ac outlet on the pass. side of the dash, similar to the '09 1500's. The show truck had the cruise controls all on a little stalk, on the lower right side of the wheel, same setup as the chargers have. I don't know if it's because this is the Laramie with extra radio controls or if this is how all of the new ones are going to be done. I personally like the cruise buttons on the wheel like my '08. I've heard there will be an integrated trailer brake controller available, but I couldn't see where it was on this one.

All in all, I really like the new HD from what I could see of it today. I wish I could have seen under the hood. Hopefully, after all of our beta testing, they will have the emmissions junk figured out by the time these start hitting the streets.

I saw a 1500 when they came out, and the hand stitched dash looked awesome in the brown...

If the interiors are as high grade and comfortable as the '09 1500's,they'll sell.

Yes they did. I saw a cutaway of the dually bed, and the integrated fenders are all steel now. Very clean looking.
