I am now looking at a: 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Mega Cab Diesel - Automatic Transmission - 4x4 - that has 170,000 miles on it.

I have read online that this s a good year for this truck - dependable/reliable.

Question: In General - Is this particular truck known for reliability/dependability?

2006 had the 5.9l engine which most prefer because it didn’t have all the anti pollution stuff. I had a 2006 2500 up until last year and it was a good truck.

Bought mine new. It's been very reliable. Maintenance Is most important. I think fluid changes are key. Try to find the history of the truck.
