07 Big Horn?
I was looking at a couple 07 ,2500 quad cab 4X4's last weekend,
a SLT and a BigHorn. I didn't see too much different between the 2.
So now I'm curious what were the upgrades from SLT to Laramie to Big Horn?

That being said, (although not with absolute certainty), my window sticker indicates the Lone Star Value group,(Customer Preferred Package2BG) as:
Sirius Sat Radio (1 year)
Lone Star badges
17 X 8 Forged Aluminum Polished wheels
Fog Lamps
Leather wrapped steering wheel
Rear Sliding window
Trailer Tow Group
Class IV receiver
7 pin harness
It was a $745 package.
If someone knows other wise I would like to be aware of it.
Remember the ST was the stripped version, the SLT with the more popular options and the Laramie was the loaded version. The Big Horn and Lone Stars just added a few other desirable features and was easy way for dealers to get popular features together and a bit cheaper.

I have a 2007 Lone Star which I believe is the same as the Big Horn. I think I remember the Big Horn was the regional package East of the Mississipi River and the Lone Star was a regional package for the Western States.

Did he buy it new? I'm in Georgia and purchased my Lone Star here as the 3rd owner but it was originally sold in Oklahoma. Some folks maintained the Lone Star was a Texas only option but I know that's not true as I have the original window sticker for mine and it clearly shows a dealer in Oklahoma ordered it.
I believe there is also a Thunder Road package as well. Still I think they were all the same. Just a marketing tool by the Dodge Corporation. Just my 2 cents.

There is no G. There is no G. Repeat after me, THERE IS NO G!
I've got a Big Horn (Texas truck). Anyway I pretty much consider it an SLT.
What you should double check is the convenience and lighting packages. I was at the dealer the other week and they had a '13 SLT on the lot I was impressed with, and for super cheap, only 45k As I looked further I noticed it did not have the fog lights or corresponding bumper and it did not have the tow mirrors. I didn't look inside so not certain what else it was missing. But for a great price it was missing nice key features. (No wonder it was "cheap"). So, don't miss those details if you're shopping around.
