05 Ram 3500 Blower motor problems

I have a 2005 Dodge Ram 3500 Cummins, with 395k. The a/c fan motor stops and will not blow for a good period of time. When I tilt the steering column it will occasionally will begin working and then stop again. I replaced the fan motor, ignition switch, fan blower motor switch under the dash. I also bought a used climate control and replaced it as well. I've noticed that even though the fan motor is not blowing, the a/c light is illuminated even when I have the controls in the off position. I think there is a problem in the column. Thanks for your help.

After doing some research on other related threads I think I will look closely at the wiring in column. Any other suggestions I'll take. Thanks again.
