Re:"04 ORDER DATE?
my bad doug I missed what you were talking about. Ohio was the same way, they tested for opacity, and my '99 mb was barely on the chart. I cant imagine what a TDI on b100 would do, they probably would think their machinery was broken.

Re:"04 ORDER DATE?
I just got a certified check in the mail today, a deposit on my TDI, its definitely going to sell it looks like ;D That means all I have to do is wait to see if EGR is on the 04 and place my order!!! I can't wait. I"m sure by the end of 6 weeks this thread will be 9 pages long with me counting the days, lol ;D

Only change I can see is they put a completely different steering wheel on them. I gotta go look it over some more to see if I can see anything else, but it looks pretty much the same.

Re:"04 ORDER DATE?
wow, hey Luke this is very cool. some things (other than EGR) of interest to me:
1. any changes to the exhaust system. pipe diameters, resonsators, mufflers, CAT. I'm thinking 'no'
2. any change to the fuel fill system at the filler neck. vent tubes and all of that. I'm hoping 'yes' but thinking 'no'
3. verify in the owners manual that the oil drain interval is the same (15K/7.5K) as in 03.
4. verify that the HO engine specs are still 555/305 and measured at the same rpm.
BTW, 3 and 4 are certain to be 'same as 03' because of the 'no EGR'.

48RE??
Luke,
Can you look over the 48RE on that '04, assuming it's an auto? I'd like to know if it looks like it has the new connections/hardware or what not I've heard of to allow a E-brake sometime after January of '04.
BTW,
Where did this '04 come from (Mexico or St Louis)?
Thanks!!
