03' Quadcab Fold Flat

Just picked up an 03' quadcab but it didn't have the one thing we were wanting for the dogs, which is the fold flat floor. I have been doing some searching online and it appears as if 2006 model fold flats are everywhere for sale but I can seem to find any for the 03 model. Will the 06 model bolt right in or will I need to modify in some way? Also, does anyone know where I can get the fold flat floors at a cheap price?

I don't think that you need to look at '06s. I have an early '05 & it has that feature. Have you look at bone years for 1500s & 2500s to see if they would have them.

I dont if the 06s will fit or not but I can tell you I like the ones on my 03 much better. They are steel instead of the plastic that came on the newer models

They will fit just fine. The ones in my '06 are from my old '03. Dealer will have new kits made of steel. Part # is 82209986.

The dealer yanked mine out and sold them to someone else before I bought my truck, they gave me a credit for them. I always meant to get another set but so far I haven't missed them. Should probably get headrests for the back seats though if people are going to ride back there....just a thought if you're headed to the salvage yard.

Enjoy the '03, they're great trucks!

Sadly I have called every boneyard in a 100 mile radius of my home with no luck. Seems as if not to many people have wrecked their quadcabs in KY. I would have have figured the opposite, but oh well.

As for the dealer, the cheapest I have found direct is $250, but my buddy who works at Advance said he can get it to his store for $210 plus tax so unless I can find it used, I will go that route.

Thanks everyone.

I don't know if anyone mentioned this, but did you check the DTR classifieds? I seem to remember seeing them on the sight. I'd sell you mine for $500! LOL

Hey, I have an 05 quad cab that I pulled the metal platforms out of to put subwoofers in that I could get rid. of They are in good shape. I don't know how much shipping would be ( I live in North Platte,Ne 69101) but I would take 175.00 for them.

Google a fold flat, maybe you will get lucky and find an 03-05 metal one.

As for using the 06 and newer fold flats for your truck, I think they will work. I looked at one on ebay and it was split just like the one I have. So, it should work.

Or just take MMarty up on his deal. When I bought a set for my Father In-laws 04 dually I paid $200.00 for them. And the dealer wanted at least 400.00 at the time. What they are now, I do not know. I think around $600-700 dollars according to Dodgeparts.com OEM catalog.
