So, My brother loses my spare set of truck keys while we were out hunting.

A grey transponder key and a remote fob to unlock the door.

He steps up and says he'll cover it...

I go to the dealer and am bowled over by the money they want. $320.30 seems pretty stupid to me. I do have two grey keys that work with my truck (for some reason I thought that was important)

I search on line and find a few sites that sell grey transponder key blanks and fobs for less than $40 each.

Who has experience with these sites? Recommendations? The good/bad/ugly of aftermarket keys and fobs please...

No need to pay that kind of money. Check your local locksmith. I know In my area (buffalo ny) a local locksmith advertises on the radio -charging half the price of what the dealer charges- replacing key fobs/reprogramming, etc

i got some cheap key fobs off amazon and had a locksmith program them. much cheaper and i havent had any problems with them.
