will a programer on a 6.7 scar the computer???
i want to get an edge attitude for my 07 6.7 6 speed but i want to know if after the chip wiring ect. is removed and the truck looks as it did when it drove off the lot if there was any way to tell there was a programer on it. i dont want to void my warenty at 1400 miles. thanks guys
You will be told by most that if you play you should be ready to pay.
That said there can be some tell tell signs that you had the Juice on your truck but the biggest thing will be the EGT probe you have to drill the exhaust manifold for. Unless you get gages to use the probe they will know without looking at the trucks computer that you most likely had a box on the truck.

Chrysler has sent out a letter telling the dealers to contact their district managers before working on any modified 6.7's.This includes anything from air filter to exhaust and everything in between.Apparently they are tired of footing the bill.

burnt pistons,blown head gaskets, turbo failure, hot spots on flywheel, clutch damage, all kinds of stuff it says on it before any warrenty work is completed to contact a supervisor to see if th truck has been "raced" or been involved in a sport called "truck pulling" i just want to know if theres a way to tell or not
