I am about to trade in my truck and have someone that wants to buy my tuner and deletes. I can trade the truck in with all the stock equipment and they will switch it over. Is there anything I should know before returning it to stock? And is the tuner VIN locked or can he run it without issues? Thanks for the help.

You have to unlock the smarty. The instructions are in the users manual.

I assume this is pretty easy? If I cannot find the users manual which all I think I have on the box is a couple pieces of paper. Unless it is on one of those I can find it on here somewhere?

Look in the download section. You select your smartymodel and it goes to the downloads. User manual is at the top.
DO NOT download a tuune to update the smarty. There's no delete tunes on there anymore.
