Smarty JR-ME CAN Error#100

Smarty JR-ME CAN Error#100
Guys,
Today I hooked up my Smarty JR-ME to adjust the POD. When trying to access the POD I get a CAN#100 Communication error. I also can not access any other areas of programming the smarty keeps asking me to turn the key on and off arrow right. I have checked and rechecked the connection cables, with no change. The truck runs fine, any ideas here?
