I have been running an Edge Juice with attitude for the last 5 years. Chip is starting to create electronic issues, 100% BACKDOWNS, Fuel Injection codes P2146 and intermitten surges under tow load. I have completly disconnected the Juice and truck runs fine on the Cummins Plant alone. I'm just one of those guys who like the power. THE QUESTION IS! What is the best tuner or performance module for my rig. Any suggestions!

The three top programmers I would look at are the EEI Live, Smarty SSR or the H&S Black Max for your year of truck. These are the top three in order of what’s best on the market, just my Opinion. The EFI Live has been out maybe a year now for the RAM trucks but from what I have read and heard this one is by far the best for performance and speed. With the Smarty and Black Max tied as to performance and both have a loyally following. The Smarty does not have the gage option so you will need to use aftermarket gages if you want them. No EFI Live for a 2005?

I do not see why it would not work on the 05 truck since they both have the same engine 325HP 610 ft-lbs of torque. With no mention of any ECM changes between those two model years. The only difference I could find was in the electrical system between the two years and that the 06 was standard with the CAN bus electrical system. I would contact EFI Live and ask them if the EFI Live would work on a 05 truck.
