Pusher fan for A/C condensor?
I've searched around, and all of the info I find is fairly old or only pertains to older trucks. I've owned my truck since new and never really been very impressed with the A/C performance. I've had it recharged a few times, and really it still only marginally does enough to cool down the cab when I really need it -- Phoenix area, above 105 degrees ambient.
It does seem to perform better after being on the road for longer than 30 minutes with flowing traffic. But in rush hour, it struggles badly even on full blast.
Has anyone managed to put a pusher fan on the front between the grill and the radiator stack?
From old threads, the unit seems to be the common choice, but mostly for guys who aren't running an automatic and can therefore put it where the transmission cooler would normally reside.
