Ok we have an 08 6.7 and the turbo blew up so we put studs o-ringed the head and a new turbo and it smokes white a lot and smells like burnt oil. The truck still starts fine ons runs great but just smokes white. So my question is is this just burning what's in the pipe or is there something wromg. The truck also has an xrt 225hp tune

Is the exhaust still full of oil from the turbo failure? It can take a good long while to burn all that out especially if it has a muffler or convertor. I had one smoking so bad I was scared the muffler was going to catch fire and burn the truck down. It took about a week and some good pulling to get the truck were it didn't white smoke under a load.
