Repair or replace - Opinions Please
I have a 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 with a 6.7L motor and 68RFE trans.
I was pulling a trailer up an incline that I normally travel except this time I was in 4th gear instead of 5th like normally. I was paying attention to only the rpms, and EGTs and didn’t realize that I was running hot in the engine (230 degrees). I think I damaged the head gasket.
About the truck:
2007 Dodge Ram 4x4 SLT quad cab
Mileage 510,000
Modifications
Amsoil from day 1
DPF, EGR, EGR cooler deletes since 100,000 miles
Smarty
Edge Juice with attitude unlocked from miles 50,000 to about 250,000
Banks Intercooler
Banks Ram Air
Recently replaced the injectors at 495,000
I have been reading a bit to help understand what I think I need.
ARP head studs
Groove and ring the head and block
I was also thinking of an ATS torque convertor. Maybe rebuilding the transmission while it is down.
What else would you recommend? Should I just replace the entire motor? Top and bottom ends?
The motor has always been strong. Lots of power and never overheated until now.
Anybody with experience on motors or have more miles than 500,000 on their motor? I am worried about doing the repairs to the top end and next having issues on the bottom.
Thanks in advance.

Recent service included injectors were replaced about 3 months ago, radiator was replaced 2 weeks ago.
It feels like an injector, but this time no codes were present and the temperature is hot. This is what makes me think it is a head gasket.
Thanks for the reply
