Makin smoke
 

Anyone have any suggestions on a programer thats makes good smoke? MP 8? From what I hear the smarty is going to be low smoke. Not that I like running around and blacking out every intersection but its nice to be able to play around when its not goin to hurt anyone else. What ever suggestions yall have throw them out there, I like the MP 8 bc its undetectable but I dont know what else is out there.

smoke doesn't equal power

You know there used to be a saying with hot rods, "if it ain't fast...chrome it!"

The saying for diesels seems to be "if it ain't fast make it smoke more!"

Just add some stickers to the truck, they add more HP than all the smoke does![duhhh][duhhh][duhhh]

I never said anything about smoke equalling power, that wasnt the question, smart *** responses are uncalled for and not necessary. The supportive ones such as the response with the video are what people post on here for. If you can say anything nice....dont say anything at all, thats what most of our mothers taught us. Lets be adults here.....

Oh Crap! Here we go. Smoke is fun. Smoke is cool. Smoke starts wars. Careful were you go and do it, or ask about it. My edge alone will smoke pretty decent. Gonna add an MP8 sooner or later and then we will see.

Be aware of smoke, we'll have emissons testing soon. In some places the 5.0's are handing out tickets for too much black smoke. The old smarty versions had a ton of smoke, who knows what the S67 will make. If I jump on it, I'll still leave a big cloud, it can be fun to mess with people but be aware of who's around you. The best running diesels burn clean w/o smoke.

With a 6.7 and all the emissions, you will be hard pressed to make smoke if at all. The DPF is supposed to collect all that smoke... you'll regen more often and probably end up buying a new DPF in the longer term.

Unless you live in a place like South Louisiana, where the roads are so rough that things fall off.....

My sentiments exactly. I been saying it for years now. Make it fast and impress people, not smokey and **** them off.

I have a 100Hp Ts proformance chip and it makes tones of power and smoke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is this on a 6.7? Cause if so I call bs. The ts mp-8 makes a little smoke. Right now Im running the smarty and if you stomp it you can make some smoke but not like you can with the 5.9's when you can just lug the engine and roll the smoke out to no end. However mine would do that with the mp-8, powerpup and fleece boost controller. But the fleece had to be turned all the way down. Then it would smoke more then any 5.9. But now i dont have the boost controller hooked up and im running the smarty so not much smoke, but lots of go fast power :cool:

Are you kidding me, not to sound mean or anything, my truck has the no dpf and it will roll out the black stuff like there is no tomoro!!! with the mp-8

we must have a different idea of rolling coal. My mp8 barely hazes. as it is with every other mp8 ive seen. you must have a special mp8.

Similar road condition are present in Kentucky areas, too. [laugh]

My Smarty JR puts out a good amount of smoke when i demand it.

Keep in mind, SMOKE = Unburnt fuel ;)
