Ok guys I just order the H&S mini maxx and I have a question . I got my dpf delete but not my egr. the mini maxx gives me the option to turn the egr off. is this a good idea to do or do i have to get the blocker plates and install them.:eek:

You can just turn it off with the programmer but most opt to install the block-off plates. I can't imagine that having all that junk in your intake tract can be good for air flow, but it's not going to hurt your truck. :D

Like said above you can, but would highly recommend getting the block off plates... We even got rid of the butterfly flapper thingy right before the intake horn, truck lost 200+pounds.... Until we capped it off with a ranch hand bumper.... [coffee]

If you decide to remove the EGR and cooler, I would recommend getting the Sinister EGR/cooler delete kit. It uses a bypass hose for the coolant instead of just blocking off and deadending the coolant passages like the H&S kit does. Some claim you can get hot spots in the cylinder head with the blocked off coolant. It also has a bracket to mount the tranny dipstick tube, if you need it. You can get the Sinister kit on eBay for $100 shipped using the best offer option.

I ordered the sinister egr delete today how hard is this to hook up

I haven't got my kit yet (will be here Tues), but it's pretty straight forward. The only thing that looks like it will be difficult is getting to the back of the cooler to get it unbolted.
