I got FASS titanium lift pump. I was looking over the instructions and had some questions. I'm planning on dropping the tank for the suction tube install. When I pull the old lift and sending module out of the tank do I need to do anything to that before I put it back, like pull anything off of that or just leave it or do they say to pull it just so you can get in there to make sure the suction tube is the correct length and be able to tighten it in place? Also I see the suction tube top part has 2 ports on either side of it, is one suction and one is the return? I don't use any of the stock fuel ports on the sending module correct? This bypasses the stock fuel filter correct? Sorry I have never installed one of these before. Only done the raptors.

This is going on a 2007 6.7 liter dodge 3500 flatbed.
