I have seen a lot of posts but they all seem to be from a few years back about the electric water pumps being unreliable due to seal failing and shorting out.

Can anyone who is running an e-pump in the daily driver chime into their reliability?

By the time you factor cost of a freeze plugs fix and bypass kit, it is about wash cost wise and lot more labor to to say with mech pump.

im curious why anyone would even consider it water pumps are like 35 bucks and yes they all leak after a couple of years but they come with a lifetime warranty after you buy an after market and take like 30 min to R&R
