Fuel mileage

while the truck was stock, the best I got was 15.5 on the highway. Sense then I have done the DPF delet with XRT and I got 18.7 on a 300 mile trip. I believe it will do just a tad better with a good cold air intake.

Rollin Smoke (James) is where I got mine. I think it was under $1k for Smarty,EGR delete , and 5" Alum Turbo back. Stainless will run you another $300 or so. Great service!!!

Hey CHUBBY! How did you remove everything & exactly what is everything? Is it more like the 5.9? Has anyone else done this? Seems logical w/ a smarty.

Well I have a update. With these mods and a speed between 65 and 70 mph, I have got 20.9 miles average. Of course this was on a 300 mile trip and I hardly tapped the brake. I will be adding a cold air intake and a new air horn in the near future. Due to my clutch slipping a little, my next mod will be a new DD 3800lb Valair clutch.

Remove the DPF and EGR stuff. Then get a Smarty and be happy again.

09.5 units aren't all plug and play just yet. I think Edge might still be able to clear the codes with the systems, but not sure.
