delete programer
Just acquired a low miles 2007.5 with the 6.7 Cummins. Want to do deletes and was wondering what tuners/programmers are still out there to allow this? Anyone have any recent experience with any? Seems most posts on this topic are old and many tuners/programmers are no longer available with deletes. Any help/info in this area would be appreciated.
Thanks,

I did my 2009 6.7 L about a year and a half ago. It had 200k when I did it. Fully deleted and used EFI live for the programming. I had a local shop do the work and it has been great. I have 250k on it now, running strong still.

Mini Maxx tuners
Looking at mini maxx as it will do deletes....confused about "ignition timing" as to what I should use. "Default" is 28 degrees but I read somewhere this is too high for "tow" setting. I don't need any more power (O.K. maybe a little) but stock power is good. Don't want any problems from incorrect injection timing........... any actual experience input will be appreciated.

EFI Live is the only way to go ! With EFI Live anytime you do some new add ons you just load the new tune and it runs awesome. I did 2ng gen swap first then grid heater delete and just did Compound turbos and soon lift pump, dual cp3's and 200% over fuel injectors all on the same tuner . I'm using EFI Live by Ryan Hardway from Hardway Performance. I'd suggest you just buy a EFI Live tuner from EFI Live and then find a local tune guy or tune it yourself it's faster because these tune guys these days are busy and it takes me a week to get a new tune. I'm teaching myself how to do it so I don't have to ask and wait a week and pay $200 everytime I need a rewrite .
