Question Deleting at 100k

Does anyone have any thoughts on deleting at 100k miles? Do it, don't do it? Have any of you done it this late in the game? The truck still runs great in stock form but want a little better performance and economy. How much does it actually help on the 6.7? It helped quite a bit on my 05 5.9.

I deleted at 96K so I could keep the warranty. Noticed better empty fuel mileage but about the same while towing heavy. I am happy I did the deletes while I could. Only 117 K on the clock so can't say much about any longevity results.

all I can say is do it... I went from a 14 mpg average to a 19 mpg average while empty and from 10 up to 14-15 depending on what I'm towing, the engine will run cleaner, better and last longer with the EGR system out of the equation, and you no longer have fuel dilution issues with your engine oil if you remove the need to regen the DPF.

the tuner options are slightly more limited or pricey than what they once were, but it is still possible, just do your homework... your truck will thank you haha

I had 97K on mine and done it. My fuel milage dropped considerably. At 120km/h and passing whatever was slower than that I was @ 10.8L/100k. At 100km/h I was 9.3L/100K. All hand calculated. I have the H & S mini maxx just on tow mode and don't touch it. Just FYI. Hope it helps you decide

your fuel mileage dropped or your fuel consumption dropped?

What were you getting prior to the deletes?

I unplugged My EGR before I did the deletes. My MPG went from 16 to 20. I just got the deletes completed today and am expecting better because I put on a complete exhaust from Turbo back. I'm setting at about 90K and running great.
