California delete
 

Hello all I am new here and my first diesel and love it!! 2009 Dodge Ram 6.7 I live in the Bay Area and want to delete my egr but make it the easiest way possible for snugging every 2 years. I read Blake’s delete sticky but confused about the California style delete. Is anyone here in Commiefornia running delete can you please help.

If you're looking for a code free egr delete then you'll need a custom tune written for you. Another option is to buy an old H&S tuner that has the option of disabling the egr system (delete) individually from the rest of the emissions equipment.

Now if you don't mind a cel tyen all you have to do is unplug the egr valve actuator and the system is disabled and accomplishes your needs.

Do the deletes and find a scrupulous smog guy to get you smogged.
Or remove and replace things every two years.
