03 ant a hemi

Just wondering I recently purchased BD 40500 programmer and it apppears to be vin locked. Anyone have any info on how to unlock these. Seems the person who sold it no longer has the truck and I cannot get ahold of him. Any help would be great.

I had a similar situation with a Superchips that didnt get unprogrammed from a truck I sold. I wanted to get it unlock to GIVE to a friend and offered to pay what ever fee they wanted to do so. The wanted my social security number, proof of sale of the truck, who I sold it to, why I sold it, fingerprints, blood sample, 512 bit encryption key from NASA....

I finally just gave up. Its sitting at home on my desk. Made a nice paperweight.

At least thats all they asked for. The NASA key, I can understand...even the blood sample but the proof of sale is just too much. J/K but its not far off from what one can experience.

If the entire program it still loaded into the other truck you will have to send it back to them to be reflashed usually 100 charge. If they did something simply like forgot to return tire size to stock then a tech can walk you thru the process to cleae the triple dog.
